An initial pre visit will take place at the customer's premises. This will ensure the customer and PawFection are happy to undertake the booking.

If PawFection or the customer does not feel happy to proceed with the booking they must inform the other party within 24 hours of the initial visit. 

The customer will be asked to complete relevant form/s about their pet and sign to confirm it is correct.

A veterinary release form will be issued if dog walking or home visits, (for insurance purposes.) 

Pawfection will care for your dog as you would.

Whilst we will make every effort to ensure your dog is well looked after in your absence.

PawFection cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care. 

If the customer needs to cancel the booking, they must do so 24 hours before the booking is due to commence.

50% of the service fee will be payable if no notification received. 

If in the rare situation PawFection cancels the booking once it has been confirmed, a full refund will be given.

Customers will be invoiced as soon as the booking has been confirmed.

The invoice should be settled 24 hours before the booking is due to commence.

Payments can be made by cash, or direct bank transfer.  

The customer is responsible for ensuring that their dog is microchipped and has a suitable lead and collar for dog walks.

They should also ensure that the collar contains a dog tag with their up to date contact details on.

 PawFection will make every effort to continue normal service and all pre-booked pet care in adverse weather conditions.

We will endeavour to notify you within 24 hours of any unavoidable changes to your booking.  

Dogs should be up to date with preventative treatments for vaccination and internal and external parasites.

If there is evidence of external parasites, dogs will be treated under the advice of a veterinary surgeon.  

PawFection may take photos of your pet during its care with us and we may occasionally use them on our social media pages.

We will ensure that they do not show your home details and we will not upload anything until the booking has ended.

Please let us know if you would prefer no photos of your pet to be used online and we will be very happy to accommodate your wishes. 

PawFection will use their discretion to reduce the duration of a walk in extreme heat or cold where the animal's welfare may be at risk.  

Under the Control of Dogs order 1992 all dogs on the walks will need to wear an identity tag,

If you do not own a tag PawFection will use a company tag with business address and phone number to comply with UK law.

The tag will be removed after the walk
